...I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping... While my guitar gently weeps...I look at the floor and I see it needs sweeping...Still my guitar gently weeps... His voice vibrated as it flowed through the room. Slightly hoarse, deep, powerful and slow. It was the only way to describe Remy's undying, heart shattering voice. He sang with all his strength tonight, feeling like it was the only way he could get rid of the choking feeling in his throat, and the annoyed feeling in his stomach. Leave Hogwarts. That's all his father has been telling him. His muggleborn father hiding out somewhere. He sighed and stroked his guitar, creating the beautiful music, trying to drown out all his thoughts. I don't know why nobody told you how to unfold your love...I don't know how someone controlled you...They bought and sold you.
He was sitting on the floor just outside the shaggy pub. No one ever walked this way. No one liked the place, especially not in these dark times. Remy didn't mind it. He was safe there. No one cared for the Hog's Head. The boy had rented a room as he waited for some inspiration to come by. And really, it was refreshing, staying in the Hog's Head. No one to bother him, and he could play all he wanted. The old man who ran the pub was always passed out anyway. Remy stroked the glistening silver strings.I look at the world and I notice it's turning while my guitar gently weeps.....With every mistake we must surely be learning.. Still my guitar gently weeps. I don't know how you were diverted. You were perverted too. I don't know how you were inverted. No one alerted you.
I look at you all see the love there that's sleeping... while my guitar gently weeps. Look at you all.....Still my guitar gently weeps.

Help him. Those had been the words given to Adrianna Parker by the order. She was to find a boy by the name of Remy Carter, a halfblood, and help him get back into school. From the information she'd acquired he was staying at the Hogs head. So dressed in an a pair of black dress pants and green button up shirt with a black jacket, Adrianna felt like a women on a mission. Wait she was. With black pointly toed heels and her hair left down around her shoulders, Adrianna raidiated power. She had been an auror for the ministry before Voldemort took over and was now working with the order to bring peace back to the London. Gravel cruched under her feet as the wind blew stray pieces of hair that had been framing her face into her eyes.
Reaching the tavern, Adrianna puushed the door in a walked in. Blinking she left her eyes adjust to the dim light before starting her search. Making her way through the tavern she say nothing out of place. Like normal, the owner was passed out and there was singing. Wait. Adrianna stopped and listened. It was a man from the sounds of it. Walking slowly toward the figure sitting on the floor Adrianna looked down at him. He looked to be in his seventh year at Hogwarts and Adrianna wondered if this could be him. "Remy Carter?" She asked inturupting his singing. She didn't cae. She had buisness to take care of and him being alone in the tavern was more danger then he probably realized.

He closed his eyes, ignoring the shadow that had come over him. It may have seemed rude, but...Remy was trying to think. Who was the person? Thinking fast, he searched for the most probable answer. Death Eater? Not likely, not in the Hog's Head. Order member? A little more likely, but...why here? Then the woman, whoever she was, said his name, and he stopped playing his guitar. His eyes fluttered open, and his deep eyes looked up at a seemingly powerful witch. He blinked once. Who the hell was this, he wondered. How did she know him by name? Most curious of all, though...how did she know him by Remy?
He stood up slowly, holding his guitar gently by the neck in his right hand. He leaned against the wall and looked at her quizzically. And he couldn't help but notice just how...clean...she looked. He looked down at his own clothing and lifted an eyebrow. Plain wrinkly jeans and a simple gray shirt, with a zipper sweater lazily hanging on his body. His shoes were dirty beyond compare, gray converse with writing and lyrics all over them. There was a smiley face drawn a couple years back on his left shoe, warn, but still there. He looked back up at the woman and smiled timidly, as if trying to apologize for his wardrobe, and a right hand pushed through his messy brown hair. "Er...only...people at school called me Remy," he said, tilting his head slightly to the side. "How'd you...know my name?"
He could have been risking something major by saying that. It very well could have been a death eater. But Remy knew when something wasn't right...and nothing was terribly wrong at that moment.

Adrianna brushed his look away with a wave of her hand. His attire was none of her concern. As he acknowledged that he was in fact who she suspected, Adrianna nodded her head. "Good good," She said with a warm smile. "I'm Adrianna. I work with the order," she said as if to calm any woes he may have toward her and her sudden appearance. "I've been talking to your father," she said her voice quiet and calm yet powerful. "You're in more danger then either of you knows. And I agree that Hogwarts probably ins't the safest plcae for you to return in September." Adri paused as if thinking. Folding her things arms across her chest Adrianna looked him over and made a hum like sound in her throat.
"However, I've been told that if you'd like to, there are way up on which we can get you returned to Hogwarts." Adrianna smiled kindly down at him. "As well we can get you out of living in tavern and into a place a bit er.. safer?" Looking around Adri held an air of half expecting someone to jump out at them any moment. Turning back to him she raised an eyebrow in question. "What do you say?" She questioned brow still arched slightly anticipating his answer.
"As for me knowing you name as you'd asked," she paused smiling wickedly. "Would you prefer I call you Remington?" Uncrossing her arms, Adriann nodded her head slightly. "Your not unknown to the Order Remy. You're one of the few halfbloods left. And it is our goal to keep you protected." She paused again her eyes scanning the tavern still making sure that no one was there. Little could be trusted anymore. Even the simpilist things could come back around and be used against you in time of war. "I've been assigned by the Order ot protect you. To make sure nothing happens to you. I'm supposed to know a lot about you. So don't freak out to much if I wind up knowing more about you then anyone else."

Her smile seemed to reassure him. Facial expressions. That was the way to knowing whether or not you could trust a person. That, and their eyes. Eyes were always deceiving. Remy was starting to learn all that slowly. But he wasn't very good at reading facial expressions, and looking into people's eyes. Her voice, though...it radiated with trust, and not a hint of a lie was marked in it. He was good at interpreting voices. He had a killer ear. "You've been talking to Dad? Really? Where...where is he...can you tell me?" It was the one thing he was mortally curious about. His father, and where the hell in the world he could possibly be. He didn't think this Adrianna could tell him anything about it, but...it didn't hurt to ask. Even if she did know, it wasn't safe to say any of it out loud. At the mention of Hogwarts, Remy looked down and sighed. "I know..." he muttered.
He looked up again, snapping his head up, his eyes slightly wide with slight surprise. "So...so you're saying...that I...I can go back? I can go back to school?" He beamed suddenly, the smile illuminating his tired face. For the first time since Voldemort had started taking over, Remy looked like Remy again. He smiled grandly, too ecstatic for words. "What do I say? What could i NOT say! I-- yes! Are you kidding? A million times yes!" He looked around at the pub and shrugged lightly. "I don't mind this place, but...whatever you say, ma'am, I will do."
He made a face as she spoke. Gah. "No. Not in hell. Remy is fine." He shook his head and laughed slightly, feeling truly happy with this woman's presence. "Really? Sweet. I feel rather special..." he blushed lightly, feeling as if he spoke too fast, too soon. "Does that make me sound stupid and selfish?" he asked timidly. He tilted his head to the side and stared at Adrianna, the slightest of smiles on his smooth, boyish face. "So, what...you're like my bodyguard or something?"

As Remy asked about his father Adrianna gavew a small sigh. "I'm not going to lie," she said her eyes shinning appologetically. "I've been corresponding only through Order comunications. I don't have any specifics on him. But I spoke with him through the floo network and he's doing fine. Where ever he is, he's safe." Adrianna smiled softly wishing she could do more for him. As a child she'd be abandonded by her father and she'd always whished she'd known what had happened to him. Just one of those curiosities wondering if he was ok. Granted, Remy's dad hadn't abandoned him. But still the desire to know that he was ok and what he was up to would be strong. But who knew maybe one day once this war was over maybe the pair would be reunited.
Adri smiled as Remy seemed thrilled by the idea of going back to school. "Yes," she said simply. "There are ways of getting you back into Hogwarts." As she waited for his answer Adri couldn't help but notice his smile. It made her feel all warm and tingly inside. Smiling was rare now and his was infectious, she was going to catch it like the flu. As Remy said that he'd love to return to Hogwarts Adri smiled. "I had a feeling you'd like to. C'mon let go get your stuff." Walking over to him she took his arm in her and lead the way to his room. Yes another thing she knew. Man I'd make a good stalker, she thought with a smile as they reached the door and she opened it and walked in. "C'mon hurry up and lets blow this popstand." Waiting by the door Adrianna kept the door open and kept a look out down the hall.
When Remy said that he preffered to be called Remy, Adrianna smiled. "I figured as much. But be ware. I know the full name and I'm not afraid to use it..." Her voice trailed off at his following questions. "No that doesn't make you selfish," Adrianna said softly as if distracted. Stepping out into the hall she'd been sure that she had heard something down the hall. Bitting her bottom lip she returned to the door waiting for him. Adrianna smiled as he asked if she was his body guard. "Something of the sort," she responded softly. "You're bigger then me. But yes I'm to put my life in front of yours when faced by the dark arts. But I'm more of a mentor. Hopefully no one will find out who you are and we'll be fine. I'm here as someone to talk to. A link between you and the order and your father. Any problems that you have or things you need to talk about. You come to me."

Remy's face fell slightly. So she didn't know where he was. Would he ever find out? Something in him told him he would never see him again...but he kept hope. The Order was strong. Someday, all of this would be over. He had faith in that. And when it was all over, Remy would find his father again. Right? He smiled politely and shrugged lazily. "Well...I guess I'll talk to him when the time is right...I'm just glad he's okay, and safe." He turned his head and looked around at the pub. He was going to miss this shabby old place. It reminded him so much of his dad, and the old days when they used to play the guitar together, Remy always singing. He sighed and looked back at Adrianna. "Just...make sure they protect him." he muttered gently.
At that moment, he couldn't be happier. Not under the circumstances, that is. The bright smile on his face couldn't be erased with anything at that moment. She smiled back at him, and he shrugged happily, feeling lame, but not caring at all. She took his arm, but he pulled back slightly, the guitar still clutched in his hand. He switched it from one hand to the other, smiled at Adrianna again and let her take his arm, following her to his shabby room. He stared longingly at the bed. Gah...it was such a comfortable bed, despite the place. It didn't take him long to gather his stuff, and messily shove everything into his huge ass trunk. He had to use one of those spells, though, that enlarged the space, for his electric, yet magically induced, guitar, and the acoustic he was playing only moments before. He turned to look at Adrianna, beaming, and sighed. "Okay...where're we going?"
He laughed at her words, looking at her with a raised eyebrow. "Oh, really? Use it how?" In truth, he hoped she was only joking, and she never had to scold him or anything like that, causing her to purposefully use his real name. He ignored her on that matter, though, and focused on the rest of the conversation. "I'm not that big," he commented, standing with his hands in his pockets. "But you are probably more handy with a wand. Me, I'm...just good with charms and stuff." He listened intently, his eyes focusing on nothing in particular. "What's going to happen, then? Am I going to get a secret identity or something?" he made a face. hopefully things would be more simple than that. He didn't want to give out a fake name, or anything of the sort. "Hey...Adri...can I call you Adri?" He smiled lightly. "Will I...ever be able to talk to my father?"

Seeing Remy's face fall made Adrianna's heart break. She wanted to reach out and pul him in close and just make everything right again. This boy didn't deserve what the magical world was throwing at him. Both him and his father deserved to be free and living together. Sollowing past the lump that as growing in her throat Adrianna nodded her head. "I promise. It'll be my personal mission to make sure that nothing happens to him. Or you. And I wll get the two f you back together. If it's the last thing I do." Her words held a tone of finality. It wasn't a topic that she was willing to budge on. She would protect Remy and his father, and nothing was going to happen to them.
Standing at thedoor Adri kept one eye on him and one eye searching the hallway outside the roo the whole time her right hand clutching her wand which was hidden in the poket of her jacket. She didn't think there would be ay trouble. But just in case. And the noises she kept hearing was probably the shop owner moving around in his drunken state. When Remy finally placed his last guitar in the trunk and askedwhere they were going Adri smiled slightly. "I'll tell you when we get there. There are to many spies around for information to be passed in unsecure locations. Come along."
Flicking her wand at the truck Adrianna shrunk it to pocket size and plucked it up and plcaed it in her other jacket pocket. Taking his are again she lead the way down the stairs and out the back door heading for the shrieking shack. It was after all one of the only buildings the roder had been able to secure after the Dark Lord took over. And as a reult it was the building that th order used for moving around the magical world. With the hand that wasn't holding ont his arm Adrianna tapped her chin playdully pretending o think about what he was asking. "I don't know exactly. But don't worry. WHen the sitution arrises you'll know." She smiled challengingly up at him.
When Remy said he wasn't that big Adri smiled. "Yes, well even if that's true, You're taller then me and I could hide behind you." She paused brushing her brown hair out of her eyes. "Well I'd hope I'm more handy with a wand. would hate to think all those years of auror training wen to waist. But don't worry it comes wiht time and practise. Something you willbe doing. We need to make sure you'll be able to protect yourself." As he sked about a secre identity, Adri bit her bottom lip thinking. "Its possible," she said softly. "But I'm not sure exatly what we're going to do exacty. But what I do know is, it isn't safe for you to be out in the open like this."
As Remy asked if he could call her Adri, Adriann nodded her head in approval. "Yes you can." she said softly to confirm her movements. At his questions she smiled softly and stopped Remy and turned him soshe could look at him. "Getting you and your father back together is going to be my personal goal. I promise you that I will get the two of you back together."
